Process Transfer & Development Project Leader


Your mission
As part of the "Process Transfer & Development" department you will be responsible for the successful and efficient transfer and/or development of production processes (fermentation, purification, and quality controls) for the manufacturing of plasmid DNA, recombinant proteins and protein conjugates.
Using your technical and scientific expertise your role will include:
•Defining the best production strategy for new customer projects.
•Establishing protocols describing the experimental plan.
•Planning and following-up of experiments.
•Writing scientific reports (compilation of data and critical analysis of results, identification of critical points, conclusions and proposals for further development).
•Presenting technical and scientific results to customers.
•Transferring process knowledge and method to GMP production teams.

Your profile
•PhD or Masters in biochemistry / biotechnology or bioengineering.
•2-5 years of experience in the transfer and/or development of upstream processes using bacteria and yeast (molecular biology / batch & fed-batch fermentation / cells harvest / cells breakage / filtration).
•Optimization by Design of Experiments (DoE).
•Microbiology quality controls skills.
•Knowledge in computer tools and software including Excel, Word, MFCS software and statistical software.
•Languages:  French / English (written and spoken).
•Experience with Sartorius fermenters and software is an asset.
