qPCR Probes
Increase the specificity of your qPCR assays by using probes instead of SYBR®.
We offer a wide range of fluorophores and quenchers in various combinations to fit any method and Real-Time thermocycler. Our top-quality fluorescent dyes and quenchers cover all qPCR channels.
Double dyes probes
We provide Classical and LNA® Double-Dye probes.
Compared to DNA Double-Dye probes, LNA®; Double-Dye probes exhibit higher thermal stabilities, specificity and reproducibility. They show better mismatch discrimination which allows the use of shorter probes. Furthermore, LNA® offers the possibility to adjust Tm values of primers and probes in multiplex assays.
MGB Probes
Get high quality MGB probes perfectly suited for patient management.
We provide a complete offer with more than 15 dyes covering all qPCR channels. Our MGB probes are available in IVD grade upon request.
Molecular Beacons
We are a licensed supplier of Molecular Beacons and offers standard, wavelength-shifting and 2' O-Me RNA molecular beacon.
2’ O-Methyl RNA Molecular Beacons perform better than DNA oligonucleotides. They are more nuclease resistant, have a higher affinity, specificity and hybridization kinetics compared to DNA homologues.
LC hybridization probes
We generate LC hybridization probes on custom request. In this method two LC hybridization probes labeled with a single fluorescent molecule specifically recognize two adjacent sequences in the target DNA.

How to select your qPCR probe?
-
Select the probe type
Double dyes are widely used because they are most efficient and offer sequence specificity SYBR® Green do not. To increase sensitivity and specificity, MGB probes are recommended. -
Select your dye
This step is important to select the most appropriate dye according to your thermocycler. To help you in dye selection, please refer to the compatibility cycler channels versus fluorescent dyes table. -
Chose the quencher adapted to your dye
Each fluorescent Dye emit a specific Wavelength. The Best quenching result is obtained with quenchers that absorb in the same range. To select the best dye/quencher couple, you can consult the dyes & quencher compatibility table.
